Our Story

SAJDAH was not an accident, it was born as a result

of these issues :

Flat and Repeated Designs

The abaya market had long ignored the modern

Muslim woman. Existing designs neither inspired

non-hijabi women to begin their journey towards

pardah, nor satisfied hijabi women who already

lived it. The cuts were lifeless. The colors

uninspired.

While remaining uncompromisingly loyal to the

laws of sattar poshi, we introduced bold new

expressions of modest fashion—bat-wing abayas,

flowing kaftans, dramatic maxi flares, hoodie

silhouettes, and structured coat-style abayas.

These are designer abayas for the boss and

powerful lady—for women who lead, decide,

and stand tall while submitting only to Allah.

Premium Abayas were very

Expensive

It was unacceptable that abayas—despite outdated

styles and repetitive fabrics—had become

unaffordable. Modesty should never feel like a

luxury reserved for a few. It should be accessible,

dignified, and chosen with ease.

By collaborating directly with international fabric

importers and manufacturers, and partnering with

skilled local craftsmen for refined embellishments,

we removed unnecessary markups. The result is

 premium-quality abayas without inflated prices,

empowering Muslim women to choose pardah

without hesitation.

With SAJDAH, they can now buy 3 to 4 Designer

Abayas in the price of 1.

Abayas lacked Comfort

For years, heavy and suffocating fabrics were

normalized. But true modesty honors a

woman’s daily life—it does not weigh her down.

We conducted deep research into fabrics

used in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, the lands where

abayas were born.

Through this research, we introduced lighter,

breathable, and stronger fabrics—designed

 for movement, endurance, and comfort—

without ever compromising coverage or

 elegance.

A Movement, Not Just a Brand

SAJDAH & exists to do more than dress women.

We exist to invite hearts—to make the

path towards pardah beautiful, dignified, and

desirable. To inspire Muslim women across

the world to come closer to Allah, not through

pressure, but through love, confidence,

 and conviction.
